Restorative yoga is a powerful practice that everyone can benefit from. It is an ideal way to incorporate self-care into your life and generate the energy you need to live it fully. Carving out the time to relax and let go of one’s “to do” lists is essential to health and well-being.
Restorative yoga uses a variety of props (blankets, bolsters, walls, chairs, eye pillows) to support and stabilize the body in restful yoga poses. In this workshop, Karon will lead you through a sequence of gentle yoga poses, breathing and meditation along with the classic, supported restorative poses using Anusara Yoga’s healing alignments.
As you rest in the postures, you will be given Reiki by Cristy. Reiki is a simple, non-intrusive healing technique that channels energy into the body accelerating our ability to heal ourselves. You will also receive a Reiki-charged healing crystal to place on different energy centers of your body to enhance this revitalizing process. You’ll take home a sense of peaceful well-being, a series of restorative poses you can do at home, your own crystal in a velvet pouch and information on how to use and care for it.
For all levels, including beginners. Please bring an eye pillow or purchase one at the studio for $10. Limit 13 people.
The practice of restorative yoga with Reiki and crystals may help you to:
- Release deeply held tensions
- Soothe your nervous system
- Strengthen your immune system
- Refill your spiritual well.
